Netanyahu Announces Preemptive Strikes Against Hezbollah in Lebanon
Jerusalem: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Sunday that Israel had carried out preemptive strikes targeting the Iranian-backed Hezbollah faction in Lebanon. He confirmed that all drones targeting a key area in central Israel were successfully intercepted.
Netanyahu warned Hezbollah and Iranian leaders that this operation marks “a significant move towards altering the security dynamics in the north,” emphasizing the government’s commitment to ensuring the safety of its citizens. He also noted, “This is just the beginning; we will continue our efforts.”
